SB55 By Stéphane Beel
SB55 is a table collection designed by Belgian architect, Stéphane Beel. The design focuses on the V-shaped trestle structure in solid ash wood. The tops can be rectangular, round or oval. The multi-ply tops are finished in Fenix HPL, a super opaque nanotech material, with black lacquered edges.
The collection proves itself multi- purposed: as a bench setting for the office, or a sleek dining table at home.

Bulo subscribes to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) formally adopted by the United Nations in 2015. They constitute an action plan to lift humanity out of poverty and put the planet back on the path to sustainability. The goals reflect the three dimensions of sustainable development: economic, ecological and social.

Our own department of interior architects, project designers and custom work offers total solutions and thinks along with you as a customer, also in the long term. The concept approach is complemented by the product portfolio and knowledge of sister company Bulvano, which specialises in smart solutions for the office.

By consciously opting for its own design department, Bulo is also able to respond to the specific requirements of customers, which can be translated into new work concepts and an optimal working environment. In this way, Bulo gives shape to its socio-economic role: design is not synonymous with exuberance, but with a way to work better, to live better.
Bulo offers more than just functional, rational and ergonomic requirements and adds subjective and emotional values such as beauty, fun, personality, respect for architecture, … to the specifications of its products. Bulo is an atypical player on the market that surprises with products with a “twist” and thus makes a difference.

With the concept of “Bulosophy”, Walter Busschop introduced a business ethic from the start of Bulo, based on trust, open communication and the principle that people are central. At a time when “mission statement, values and stakeholders” were still a long way off, these were already being applied in dealings with customers, employees, designers and architects, as well as suppliers. A good company cherishes these values and does not change them under the influence of economic circumstances.
