The name ‘butterscotch’ first appeared in the county of Yorkshire, England in the early 1800s. It is most likely that the name came from the term “to scotch”, meaning to cut or to score, allowing the cooling confectionery to break into pieces later. A velvety, buttery, creamy butterscotch with a bit of a crunch, made in the traditional way.
Nine delicious, hard and crunchy double pieces are presented in a high-quality embossed tin, each piece individually wrapped in silver waxed foils.
