Custom-ordered display shelf, television stand, and low table, a set of furniture production of residencial exhibition of Sekisuiheim. The planning and production period was about 8 months. Together with the design team, they were in charge of the overall proposal and arrangement of various parts (floor columns, floorboards, various knobs, etc.) derived from the building itself, and of course, the production.
Premium Japanese-style inn in Kusatsu area had asked them to suggest a furniture using the spring water that springs out within the premises. They proposed to produce the series of a piece; tables for their restaurant where all the guests gather for meals. The iron parts of the legs and top plate are corroded by Kusatsu’s hot spring water, then are painted with lacquer and the original finish is sown with tin powder.
