Kimumoku is the 4th wooden product manufacture in Hirosaki, Aomori where is the Northen tip of Honshu. The great-grandfather of present CEO provided the ladder for maintenace of apple trees made with Japanese cedar. Since then, they produce full-ordered furniture or diplay with Aomori cedar and Aomori white-cedar. Besides, they produce and sell wooden toys that is made with apple trees because Hirosaki cultivates apple most of Japan.
They have started with development of the ladder made of Aomori Hiba wood, and
then shifted to doors and windows, furniture, and store fixtures to go with the times accordingly. Here they are also in the period that they can hardly survive without evolution. The interior products made of apple tree, “CHITOSE”, and play equipment, “Warahand” started 10 years ago have now grown up to be their original core brands.
